Discovered by Henry Hudson in 1609 on the Hudson River, Albany has grown from a small settlement town to the burgeoning tech valley you see today. However, it hasn't lost it's historic charm that has been attracting residents for years including attractive historic homes, amazing architecture, and a world-class museum. Outside of the city residents can enjoy all that nature has to offer from Cohoes Falls, Albany Country Rail Trail to Lawson Lake and Thacher Park.
